I did try to clean them with baby wipes, but it didn't really work. Some of the tags are worn out. You may find strings hanging. These Bears were made by a few different companies (not Kenner) for a group of UK charities. Their quality was not up to par with Kenner. This one has a separated (or two?) hair tuft/s. He doesn't have a tush tag. I don't think any of the later editions of these did have tags. This is one of the later ones that have a sewn-on belly heart. He has no writing on his heart button, but again, since these weren't made by Kenner, I don't know if he ever did. I am very careful with all of my items, keeping most of them in storage totes.
