This Care Bear is not found anywhere on a list of known Care Bear characters. It has the same features as a traditional Care Bear including the heart on the butt and a tag. It is in good condition The tag says, “Play Along: Sample Not for Resale” Play Along Toys held the licensing for Care Bears in 2000 and the tag carries the PlayAlong Logo. Play Along also held the licensing for the Doodle Bear, which is what this Care Bear appears to be a cross of. VERY RARE, 1980's, vintage, maverick, Care Bear, I Love You. UK exclusively released. This special bear is a maverick, because it has the yellow fur of Birthday Bear or Funshine Bear, but has the tummy emblem of Tenderheart Bear which, usually has tan fur. The tummy emblem has the words "I LOVE YOU" embroidered. UK 1980's mavericks were not produced with Care Bear cloth tags. I Love You Bear is one of three charity designs. Rare UK only released vintage Surprise Care Bear. Bear is from the early 80s and in great near perfect vintage condition. Blue body fur shows little wear or fading. White fur accents are not stained. Tummy icon surprise box is still brightly colored without pulls in the stitching. Plastic eyes and nose are without obvious chips or scratching. He is adorable but not perfect. His eyes have minimal wear, nose shows dirt/marks, and his tummy shows play wear, and the music note symbol is faded. The "Care Bears" logo on the heart emblem on his butt is partially worn off.
