This Care Bear is not found anywhere on a list of known Care Bear characters. It has the same features as a traditional Care Bear including the heart on the butt and a tag. It is in good condition The tag says, “Play Along: Sample Not for Resale” Play Along Toys held the licensing for Care Bears in 2000 and the tag carries the PlayAlong Logo. Play Along also held the licensing for the Doodle Bear, which is what this Care Bear appears to be a cross of. For sale is the Kenner Care Bears Poseable Figure Treatheart Pig Action Figure. The figure is the original unproduced figure from the Care Bears line. It is complete with accessory and packaged. The package is the Gentle Lamb package due to this piece being a Package Sample. At this stage, Kenner was more interested in the final figure and how it was packaged inside the normal standard box. The next step would be be samples in the correct Treatheart Pig box, but I suspect it was cancelled before that was finalized. Figure is mint and complete.
