Hi up for auction today is a super rare and hard to find Care Bears Harmony Bear. This bear is a super size jumbo at 40 inches from top of the ear to his bottom and is 36 inches from top of arm to tip of arm just for reference the first picture is him sitting on the couch with my 20 year old daughter. As a collector of antique dolls only, I know nothing about Care Bears, but my friend Carolyn asked me to sell these Care Bears that have been sitting in this Care Bear bag for the past 20 years or more in her guest room. There are 16 in total, 13” (or 14” if measured from tip of ear to bottom of foot),and one baby Care Bear that’s 12” in size. They are all cleaned, no tears or missing Care Bear buttons. Some have faded tags, but overall, nice and clean with no odors. All have been previously loved by Carolyn’s children in the 80’s. Tags date the bears from 1983, 84, and 85. As you can see, there are 4 Love A Lot bears, 3 Cheer bears, 1 purple raccoon (very cute), 2 Wish bears, 2 Bedtime bears, 1 Grumpy bear(1983), 1 Secret musical bear ( non-working), 1 Good luck bear, and 1 cute little Baby bear “Baby Hugs (12”). (Please see the pics of the clouds) Some of the inside graphics are peeling back but is there. (I have not attempted to glue it back down). The Cloud car works well and "clicks" when it is rolling. This is a Original Kenner Care Bears “Baby Hugs Bear” that is in Unused MIB condition. He is dated “(c) 1984 American Greetings” on his the back of the box. He is still factory attached to the box and has never been played with. He measures approx 8 1/2" tall in the sitting position. He comes with his little diaper and is still attached to the back of the box. His fur is soft and plush and he is bright and clean. The box is in very good shape and is a display type box shape. There is some edge wear and waviness to the box on the sides and bottom but the colors are bright and shows no fading. The names of some of the Care Bears on the back of the box have been crossed out. There is no odor or musty smell to him and he comes from a smoke free home.
