eBay This vintage early 1980s Kenner 6" Cheer Care Bear prototype / maverick plush is a must-have for any collector or fan of Care Bears. I bought this item from a toy fair whom said he got it from a former Kenner employee. The color is very bright and unique! Eyes were clearly hand painted. Was made without a wash tag. Red Care Bears heart also looks (lettering doesn't look exact) and feels (doesn't feel as polished) unique when compared to the normal ones. Fur also feels like it has a slightly different texture. I have included a lot of pictures comparing it to a regular 6'' cheer bear with wash tag to this one and 1 picture comparing it to a 6'' Love-a-lot bear - so the differences may be seen a bit more clearly. The bear is in great shape and has been well-preserved over the years. This Cheer Bear would make a great addition to any collection.Will be shipped in a padded envelope unless you request otherwise.
