For tops dresses sweaters Chest is pit-to-pit, Length is highest point of shoulder to hem (never middle of collar, unless there is no strap/sleeve to measure from), Sleeve is shoulder seam to cuff. *Special note --> Raglan sleeves are measured from highest point on shoulder to cuff. For pants skirts shorts bottoms Waist is measured from top of pants (unstretched), Length is top to hem, Inseam is crotch seam to top of pants, (Front) Rise is from crotch seam to top of pants.
