2016 Care Bears plush PROTOTYPES Baby Cheer & Bedtime - French doudou - Jemini

These are prototype samples of Baby Bedtime Bear and Baby Cheer Bear, made for the French Care Bear line by Jemini in 2016. They are attached at the ear via a plastic tag, which I assume was so they didn't get separated in the factory.Cheer Bear's tush tag says "Sample" on one side and "J&S KOREA WABI TOY" on the other. Bedtime Bear's tush tag says "Les Bisournours Baby" (French name for the Care Bears) on one side and has Jemini's name and website on the other. He also has a large paper tag attached to his star which says "WABITOY" on one side (which I'm guessing is the Chinese factory that made plushies for Jemini) and some notes in Chinese in the other. I used the Google Translate app to translate the Chinese text and it was confirming they they wanted the patterned fabric in the plushies's ears and feet, and something about the ribbons (maybe making them shorter or longer?).The sample bears are similar to the finished product. They have ribbons sewn on one paw and a star attached to the other. They were made to be "doudous", which in French refers to a comfort object for child, like a favorite blanket or soft toy they carry around. Since they're made for very young children, they have no plastic parts that could come off and choke a toddler.
